Day 1:
In the morning we will transfer by vehicle to the Pyramids of Cochasqui, where we will visit the 15 pyramids and tombs, which are witnesses of a pre-Inca architecture; they are spread over an area of 80 hectares. In 1979 they were declared Cultural Heritage of Mankind. The special thing about this place is that you can breathe a mystical aura, typical of this high desert of the Andes mountains, just to the south of the equator. Being a strategic location for the study of the stars and astrology, and where ancient people performed their mystical rituals according to their beliefs.
At the end of this interesting trip, we will return to Shungu Huasi to delight a delicious lunch. Optional visit to flowers farms (only foreigners).
Then we will embark on a beautiful 3 to 4 hour ride and enjoy a panoramic view over valleys and mountains near the communities located in the sector. In the afternoon we will return to Shungu Huasi. End of our service.
Day 2:
In the morning we will head to the shelter located on the southwest side of The Cayambe Volcano or to the Ponchos Otavalo Market. Anyway you can see a landscape of dreams.
At the end of this interesting trip, we will return to Shungu Huasi to delight a delicious lunch. Optional visit to a biscuit factory (only foreigners). End of our service. |
